Introducing the Power Pulse™ Delivery Kit

Using the AngioJet® Xpeedior® catheter, the Power Pulse Delivery Kit enables the physician to infuse medication directly into thrombus.

The Kit features a Y-Spike set and a one-way stopcock so you can easily switch between AngioJet thrombectomy and Power Pulse Delivery.

How Power Pulse Delivery Works
With Power Pulse Delivery technique, the outflow lumen of the AngioJet Catheter is closed by the stopcock, which is part of the Power Pulse Delivery kit.

This allows the fluid to be pulsed through the catheter, penetrating and disrupting the thrombus.

Using the Y-Spike set, the physician can switch between heparinized saline (normally used for thrombectomy) and a second fluid, usually a lytic.

By infusing lytic directly into the thrombus, the dose and duration of lytic exposure may be reduced.

After lytic has been allowed to work on the thrombtic lesion, the stopcock is opened, the catheter is primed and flushed with saline and reintroduced into the clot.

After opening the stopcock for normal thrombectomy, the powerful Cross-Stream® action of the Xpeedior catheter can remove the softened thrombus.
