Premiering in 1997, Possis' AngioJet^® Rheolytic™ Thrombectomy System remains the medical world's leading mechanical thrombectomy system. Over 300,000 patients worldwide have been treated with AngioJet therapy.

The AngioJet system is comprised of a control console and a family of catheters, each designed for optimal performance in different vascular territories. Widely recognized by physicians as quick, safe and effective, our market-leading AngioJet technology is FDA cleared for use in coronary arteries and bypass grafts, in dialysis access grafts and in peripheral arteries and peripheral veins.

Our goal moving forward is to expand the use of AngioJet thrombectomy throughout the body - including new areas such as treating deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE) and ischemic stroke.

In addition, we are looking beyond our current thrombectomy markets and focusing on introducing new products that address unmet needs in the broader endovascular treatment market. The SafeSeal™ Hemostasis Patch, The GuardDOG^® Occlusion System and The Fetch™ Aspiration Catheter are examples of our broader product focus. Also, our investment in Rafael Medical is aimed at gaining access to the vena cava filter market which is a strategic fit with our initiative to expand the use of the AngioJet System in removing thrombus from peripheral veins.

Still more new products are on our horizon and will come from internal development efforts as well as partnerships with other companies.

With headquarters and manufacturing facilities in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Company has a dedicated domestic sales force of over 80 people and is represented internationally by 15 distributors.
